[00:00:00] Speaker A: The Greenwood Bulldogs bring home their second consecutive state championship in their 12th overall with a 6135 win Saturday at War Memorial Stadium. We'll have the recap plus revisiting the 5A and 7A title games on this week's prep rally. [00:00:17] Speaker B: You're watching the Prep rally podcast. [00:00:27] Speaker A: Welcome to the prep rally podcast sponsored by West Termite, Pest and Lawn, Graham Thomas and Rick Fires here in northwest Arkansas. And Leland Barclay joins us from the River Valley. Good morning, fellas. What an exciting weekend of state championship games we had this past weekend. Leland and I were in Little Rock for those. Rick, we know you're up here handling the basketball beat, but I know you kept tabs on everything. Yep. Just an exciting, exciting, exciting time. Leland, you're all back home after a busy weekend. How are you doing? [00:00:59] Speaker C: I'm nice and cozy in my wife's craft room. [00:01:04] Speaker B: Is that where you do your knitting? [00:01:06] Speaker C: I feel very crafty today. [00:01:10] Speaker A: Most definitely. Well, everybody, you know, my wife wishes she had a craft room, so Rick Fires probably does have a craft room for his wife somewhere. What do you say, Rick? [00:01:22] Speaker B: Yes, man. I love arts and crafts. And Leland, can you. You have an easel there. You do little drawings and. And you. You do some knitting and crocheting in that room. Is that where you get all your stuff done? [00:01:36] Speaker C: No. In fact, I'm not allowed in here because one time I used one of her pairs of scissors that she uses for her stuff. That was a big no. [00:01:45] Speaker A: I have also got in trouble on the scissors rule before. Like, there are. Sometimes there are cloth scissors. You don't use them to cut paper or to cut, you know, whatever you might cut scissors with. Now? [00:01:58] Speaker C: No, I do not. [00:02:00] Speaker A: Now, Rick, I know for a fact you happen to be quite the artist. [00:02:03] Speaker B: I do what? But there's not a lot of things. I don't know. Talking about the scissors, I thought you just hand them to them like that, but you hand it to them with the. With the. The. The opposite way so you don't stab them, right? [00:02:17] Speaker A: Yeah. The person handing the scissors holds it by the blades and hands it to them with the handles going out. That's the proper etiquette. You can learn a lot on a prep rally podcast. [00:02:27] Speaker B: Okay. That's it. I always get that proper crafting. [00:02:29] Speaker A: You know, we. You know, your. Your second career is going to be at Hobby Lobby, right, Rick? [00:02:34] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, I love that. Really? I love that kind of stuff. I love the fragrance and everything. I could spend an hour in there. [00:02:41] Speaker A: You know, they got a Joann here in Fayetteville, Hobby Lobby. What's the other, the other crafting places? What? [00:02:47] Speaker B: You know, I look forward to October when they got all the crafts fair. I'm right there with the blue haired ladies. So now it's right up my alley. Next time I come visit Leland, I need we spend some time in there. I like that place. [00:03:01] Speaker C: All right, we'll go, we'll go to Hobby Lobby. [00:03:05] Speaker A: All right. We're going to jump right into the. Give me five for this week, Leland. Take it away from the craft room. [00:03:13] Speaker C: Well, this is the top five performances of the last week in the River Valley and well, they're all or most of them are from Saturday's Class 6A state championship game won by Greenwood 61 to 35 over Shiloh Christian. Course number one, the River Valley Democrat. Player of the week, surprise Kane Archer, 22 of 29 for 321 yards and three touchdowns. Those numbers aren't surprising. We've seen them all year. But how about 18 carries for 131 yards and four touchdowns? We talked to coach Chris Young after the game about, you know, Kane Archers always had the ability to run, but obviously during the season they kind of protect him some. They don't want him to run. Well, you know, one of the things we asked him Saturday afternoon was he kind of unleashed Kane Archer on Saturday afternoon and of course his passing, 22 of 29, 321. But that for the season he finished 245 of 301 attempts passing for 3,829 yards and 57 touchdown passes. He completed 57 touchdown passes. He did not complete 56 of his passes during the year. 54 incomplete passes, two interceptions. So he actually had a better ratio of touchdown passes than passes not completed Saturday afternoon. Of course he led Greenwood going on their first eight possessions of the game. Finished 130 for the second year in a row. Just a phenomenal performance by the entire team, especially Kane Archer completed his junior season and the 81.4% completion percentage for the season is a national record. Number two, Grant Carnes, senior receiver, caught seven passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns. He finished his career with 240 receptions which is eighth all time in the state of Arkansas. And then his receiving tandem partner, number three, Champ Davis, 10 catches for 106 yards. And he kind of put the coup de grace on Greenwood's win on Saturday afternoon with a 99 yard interception return for a touchdown for Greenwood's final score of the day. And then number four, the defense of Course led by Cash Archer all, you know, we've seen him all year. He had another sack and a half on Saturday afternoon. And also Gage Hanna, who was the Burlsworth award winner from Greenwood. Phenomenal effort by the defense. In fact, it was kind of the defense that set the tone early. Fellow Christian won the toss, elected to receive Greenwood three and out champ Davis, a 35 yard punt return. On the next play, Archer hit cards for a 14 yard touchdown pass. And it was seven to nothing and the route was on. And then number five from Friday night, Mansfield lost to Salem in the state semifinals in Class 3A. Daniel Burton ran for 102 yards in three touchdowns in that loss. [00:06:47] Speaker B: Leland, let me ask you guys because I was doing basketball, but you know, Kane Archer, the big time recruit, I've been there at some times and you see some of these college coaches moving around. Do you see any big time college coaches there watching this game? Maybe, you know, looking at Kane Archer. [00:07:06] Speaker C: We saw some there, we saw some getting on the elevator before the game, we saw some after the game getting back on the elevator. So we saw some. I didn't really pay attention to who they are, who they were. But yeah, you're right, he's a big time recruit. And you know, some have said that his season was the best ever in Arkansas high school football. Certainly among the best ever. I mean 81.4% of these passes he completed more touchdowns then pass is not completed. It's just a phenomenal number. And their offense was so proficient. Scored on their first eight possessions last week against Mountain Home. First string offense was 6 for 6. I think they were 6 for 7 against El Dorado in the second round of playoffs. So you know, he's, he's certainly garnering a lot of attention. In fact, last week he was named the Arkansas Gatorade football player of the year. [00:08:06] Speaker A: Wow. You know, it's funny Rick, we had a great discussion after the ball game. We were talking about Kane Archer stats and Leland just mentioned the not completed passes. You know, we were like, well there's a difference between incomplete and not completed, you know, because he did throw an interception late in the game, his second one of the year. Otherwise he would have only thrown one all year. And his brother was giving him a hard time about that interception. But this is how, how crazy of a year it's been for Kane Archer, Archer that we're talking about. We're distinguishing between incomplete passes and not completed passes. And of course the ones he did complete. It's just a fascinating discussion. You would have loved it. So what a great season for Greenwood. You know, that's two in a row where they've gone undefeated in just dominant fashion. You know, the closest game they played all year was against Shiloh Christian. You know, the game you guys were at to start conference play. This one was close. For a while though. I'll give Shiloh Christian a lot of credit. It was Nathan or, excuse me, Jake Bodenstein and Griffin Mason, the offense, you know, they gave up that one score and they kind of went back and forth for a little bit and then Greenwood pulled away just, you know, they just kept coming and kept coming and kept coming just all. [00:09:28] Speaker B: Yep. [00:09:29] Speaker A: So. Well, that's going to lead us into our River Valley sports report for the week. And Leland, you know, kind of. I don't know if the sports report this week is going to continue the Greenwood theme or what else you got for us down there. [00:09:48] Speaker C: Well, I mean, like you said, you know, there was a lot in this championship game. You know, even though Greenwood scored first on the first offensive play of the game of the of their possessions, like you said, fellow Christian cut it back to within 28 to 21 with a 67 yard touchdown path from Jake Bowenstein to Chandler Kemp midway of the second quarter. So it was kind of a back and forth and back and forth. But then Greenwood scored the last two possessions of the second quarter to make it 30 or 42 to 21 at the half. They came out, got the opening kickoff, went down and made it 42 to 21. They added another touchdown, went, went up 54 to 21 and really was within one extra point of invoking the mercy rule. But they missed the extra point. The next time they tried for two and they didn't get that. But then Shiloh Christian scored two in a row, made it 54 to 35 and then stopped Greenwood on downs and they were driving. That's when Champ Davis with 127 left returned the interception 99 yards for a touchdown. I thought it was a very fitting end to the win, but yeah, Shiloh Christian came back and battled and you know, like you said, Kyle Christian played Greenwood closer than anybody during the season. In fact, they led Greenwood 17 to 14 midway of the third quarter and Greenwood had to score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to kind of put that game away and win at 28 to 17. So we knew that fellow Christian would be a very formidable opponent for the championship game. And they were. I mean, they put a 400 and 461 yards of offense against a Very good Greenwood defensive team. Jake Bodenstein, 27 of 42 for 382. But it was just a really all around solid performance by Greenwood. Seven tackles for law, two sacks by the defense. Paul Brixie, Zach Zitzman, Cash Archer, Taylor Jasna. You know, all those guys are seniors and, you know, 26 game winning streak. They will take in the next season for Tane Archer Jr. Or his senior. [00:12:25] Speaker A: Season, you know, it's crazy. [00:12:27] Speaker C: And then, of course, Mansfield, you know, phenomenal season. Made it to the state semifinals for the second year in a row. And then basketball this week, the tournament of champion champions tips off on Thursday at Northside and north side, south side Lamar and Bergman are in it. Class 3A defending champion Ida Bell of Oklahoma is in it. Ida Bell's rival, Broken Bow is in it. Brock, Texas, which is a very good class 418 for Texas. And then Lincoln Christian from Tulsa is in it. It may be the most balanced field that the tournament of champions has ever had, which says a lot because that always draws a lot of good teams. So that's going on this week. And then bowling season has started for high schools and wrestling season has started for high schools. So we go from five state championship games in football this past weekend to jumping into basketball and bow wrestling. [00:13:33] Speaker A: You know, at some point, we're gonna have to get the Leland Barclay bowling feature. There's gonna be some unicorn of a kid over there that's gonna be so good, and Leland's gonna dive into bowling. It'll happen kind of like Henry did this past year. Well, we're gonna take a break. As we go to break, we've got some video we'd like to show you from the Class 6A state championship game between Greenwood and Shiloh Christian. This is prep reli. [00:14:17] Speaker D: I feel good, but the main thing is having God in your life and confidence. Confidence is very much key. I just play corner when they need me. So I felt like when we start letting some big plays happen, I feel like I needed to go in and make some plays. And I'm making a play at the end. [00:14:34] Speaker A: And we're back on the prep rally podcast, sponsored by West Termite Pest and Lawn Graham Thomas and Rick Fires with you. Leland Barclay joins us in the from the River Valley. And it's time for the Northwest Arkansas top five of the week, starring Rick Fires. [00:14:52] Speaker B: All right, I'm going to kind of zip through some of the football stuff because I've spent, you know, three days, 12 games of basketball. But we certainly want to recognize These guys right here. Elkins remains undefeated, advanced at a championship game against Arkadelphia after they beat Little Rock Mills. Went down there and put it on. Little Rock Mills. Jaquay Walden, you know, we've been talking about him all year. He's been our player of the year, player of the week a couple of times. 123 yards rushing, return to kickoff, 73 yards for a touchdown. And he also plays defense. Leland talking about. And both of you all been talking about how good a showing that Shiloh Christian has. Shiloh Christian, Jake Bodenstein puts up 35 points, 300 and almost 400 yards passing. 382 yards passing, guided the team 461 total yards. And they still got mercy ruled. That that's how powerful. [00:15:58] Speaker A: Oh, they did not get mercy ruled. [00:15:59] Speaker B: They didn't. [00:16:00] Speaker A: They did not get mercy. [00:16:01] Speaker B: Okay. [00:16:01] Speaker A: In fact, that was a. That was a glowing point for 61.35. [00:16:05] Speaker B: How many points is that? [00:16:06] Speaker A: If that's. That's a 26. [00:16:09] Speaker B: 26. [00:16:09] Speaker A: Okay, now I want to do. Go back to the play that Leland referenced earlier. Greenwood went for two to try to get the mercy rule going. They tried to do a pass to Kane Archer in the end zone and they didn't complete it. [00:16:29] Speaker B: So they were within two points of getting. [00:16:31] Speaker A: Two points of getting the mercy rule. And Coach Barnard was, you know, that was one of those talking points after the ball game that they, you know, didn't get mercy ruled. So. [00:16:42] Speaker B: Okay, well, good. But you know, Bodenstein, and not just with what he's done, but he's kind of been in and out of the lineup. Cole Creighton got hurt early. Early with the collarbone. Yeah, I think he broke his collarbone early in September or something. Bodenstein stepped in there and did a really good job. And Creighton comes back and then Bodenstein go back to bench and then he had to come back after Creighton got hurt again. So this kid has really done a good job. His coach said, you know, some good things about him, the way he handled the situation. So a lot of credit to Shiloh Christian and Jake Bodenstein. Bentonville, you guys are talking about Bentonville played Bryant just tooth and nail right there. Had a chance, a couple costly turnovers, but Chris Ficklin did a good job. 34 rushes, 147 yards. So great job by Bentonville. A lot of people picked Bryant to go all the way and they did, but it wasn't without a fight from the Bentonville Tigers. Now to basketball. This is where I spent most of my weekend. So Fayetteville. The Fayetteville boys made it to the finals, the hooping on the hill tournament. But they got beat. Let me see. It was close for a while, but St. Louis Vachon won it. 73, 58. Anybody knows anything about high school basketball? St. Louis Vashon, a traditional power in Missouri. They're currently ranked number two overall. They're a 4A team. They've won, I don't know, one of the coaches said 18 state championships going back to the 70s, five times champion. But you know, that's a really good. Even coach Brad Stamps demand. It's going to just make us better. Fable is a really good team. They got good guard play, but you know, they lost their center transferred out. So they got to kind of make. Make something up right there in the middle. But their guard play is excellent. The player that stood out to me in the whole tournament, this kid, a kid from vachon, got the MVP. But Jashon Andrews, Little Rock Christian, man, he scored 35, 30, 17 points. Excuse me. And man, this guy is just a player. And the reason I'm asked if there was any college scouts at football, John Calipari was at these games. I know he's looking hard at Andrews, who's just a junior. And you couldn't miss him because he's pulled up a chair right there at courtside with Brad Stamp. So you couldn't. These coaches want to be seen by these guys. They're the girls tournament. And Greene County Tech, which is over in northeast Arkansas, look like they beat Little Rock Central. Defending state champ Greene county tech is 7 and 0 and really looking forward to some basketball and not just. Not the great teams are not just at the top level. You talking about Bergman coming down that tournament championship, Fort Smith? I really interested to see how they do. I like to see the smaller school get to play in these big time tournaments. So good job by Greene County Tech. Corner coming over from northeast Arkansas and winning that tournament at Rogers. [00:20:02] Speaker A: You know, Greene County Tech is coming back. They're going to play Springdale on Wednesday in the studio. Start of the Red Dog Invitational at the new Springdale Arena. Have they given that thing a name yet? I can't. [00:20:18] Speaker B: I've asked like three times. They shrugged their shoulders. Springdale Arena. I said we come up with something. We got to come up with something. [00:20:25] Speaker A: Rick FIRES ARENA I wouldn't. [00:20:28] Speaker B: I've been there, but I didn't have anything to do with that. They did a great job on that. [00:20:32] Speaker A: Well, that's a Good segue into our Northwest Arkansas sports report. So, you know, we are full fledged into basketball season and there are quite a few tournaments going on in Northwest Arkansas this week. So just to start off with the Red Dog Invitational in Springdale, that's going to start Wednesday, will run Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. It's more like a round robin kind of deal. Like there's only going to be a couple games tonight. Springdale be there, Green County Tech will be there. Over at harbor, there's the Northwest Arkansas Classic. So the teams you're going to have in this one, you're going to have girls teams. Springdale, Harbor, Bentonville, Fayetteville, Greenwood, North Little Rock and Tulsa Union. And I believe the Northwest Arkansas schools, they're all in the same conference. So Harbor, Bentonville and Fayetteville, they're not going to play each other, but they're all going to take turns playing Greenwood, North, North Little Rock and Tulsa Union. So that will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Wildcat arena, we go north into Benton county, we Rogers for the Rogers Hoop Fest. So a lot of good teams there. I know Parkview is coming in. Rogers and Heritage will be there. Russellville, Nixa, Missouri, Harrison. I'm forgetting a couple there, but those are just a few of the teams that are going to be in it. And you know, up in north northeast Benton County, Pea Ridge has a tournament for the boys this week. So and then, you know, the teams that aren't playing locally in tournaments are all scattered about another, another big week of tournament play. [00:22:16] Speaker B: So I think Fave was going to Missouri. I think what Brad said somewhere up in Missouri. So it's that time of year, I guess. [00:22:23] Speaker A: Well, it's exciting. I mean just, it's a, it's a lot to keep up with. But Rick, we still have some football. [00:22:34] Speaker B: Absolutely. [00:22:34] Speaker A: Elkins Elks are headed down back down to the Rock this weekend after they went to Mills last week and they're, they're going to the Rock to play a really good Arkadelphia Badgers team in the Class 4A state title game. That's going to be at noon on Saturday at War Memorial Stadium. And I just want to go ahead and mention that the Class 3A game, which is going to be Saturday night, we don't have a local team from northwest Arkansas or in the River Valley in it. But you have Bismarck playing against the Salem, right? Yes, the Salem Greyhound. That's right. Who just beat Mansfield, who's making in Salem, is making their first appearance in the state championship game. So Ian, you're right Too. Like the, those little schools, you know, those are exciting championship games because basically the whole town shows up. [00:23:27] Speaker B: The whole town show up. Yep. [00:23:29] Speaker A: So Leland got a really cool shot of the Greenwood crowd. He got the captains walking out to midfield and got the crowd behind the captains. It was nice. Nice shot. That was in the Sunday River Valley Democrat Gazette. [00:23:43] Speaker B: So I love War Memorial Stadium. I had a friend of mine said, well, well, man, there ain't nobody there. And I said, no, there is there a lot of people there. These are high schools. It's not 55, 60,000 for a college game. But I'm glad they have it there centrally located and if you look just behind both the benches right there, that both teams and all of them had pretty good crowds. So they're not going to fill it up like a college game would, but I'm glad they have it down there. [00:24:17] Speaker A: Yeah, it's just a really cool setting. As we talked about last week. I'm a fan of War Memorial. I hope the city of Little Rock will do what is necessary to keep that facility, you know, as updated as it needs to be. I had a great time. I was there for the five A six day, seven games. You know, we didn't even talk about Farmington in the Class 586 championship game. Played against a really good Little Rock Parkview team. Oh, my goodness. You know, really, Parkview really made it hard on Farmington early and they got ahead of them. And you know, Farmington did make some, some plays and do some good things to just, you know, a lot of teams would have struggled against, against that Parkview team. And a lot of teams have struggled against them. So. [00:25:05] Speaker B: Hey, let me bring this up if we got a minute if we're going to do our final, final overall poll. I haven't seen anything in our paper or any others. I mean, don't. You got to go. You got to go. Bryant one, Greenwood two. And just because Green, because they. It wasn't Greenwood's fault. But like I think Leland mentioned that, but they did break away some years ago. And I can't put a 6A Greenwood or a 5A park view ahead of 7A. Brian, what you guys think? [00:25:35] Speaker A: Well, you know, you mentioned it there, Rick. I mean, when, when the. At the time the 6A and 7A teams, when they split into those deals, Greenwood was still a 5A school. I got a stinking hunch that Greenwood feels like they could compete with Bryant or Benton or Bentonville or Parkview or probably could. [00:25:59] Speaker B: But. [00:26:01] Speaker A: You know, I, I would imagine that I'm going to vote Bryant number one. Just kind of, you know, when you go undefeated in the state's largest classification, that's hard to overlook. Leland, what's your take on that? [00:26:12] Speaker C: Well, it's, you know, it's like you said, you know, it's a tough decision to make based on historical, you know, numbers and things. We've always voted the 7A team as the number one team in the state in the final poll. I think this Greenwood team is a little bit different. And like you said, they were not in, you know, the bottom part of the state's largest classification in 2005 when they decided to make this, this split. And I'd love to see them play some of these teams, but I tell you, I think this Greenwood team would give Bryant and Bentonville everything they wanted. Based on what I saw live on Saturday night, you know, I would not. I'd love to see a playoff between Bryant and Greenwood and Parkview. I do think Brian and Greenwood would win that, and I certainly would not bet against Greenwood. [00:27:22] Speaker A: All right, we're going to take another break, guys, and when we come back, we will do a very abbreviated. Who you got? This is prep rally. [00:27:45] Speaker E: You know, early on, getting to stop right off the bat and then going down scoring was big. You know, then we give up the score and go answer again. I thought we did a really good job, especially early when we did give up points of answering and not letting them get back in the game and getting that momentum. [00:27:58] Speaker A: And we're back on the prep rally podcast. Graham Thomas with Rick Flyers here at Northwest Arkansas and Leland Barclay joins us in the River Valley. And so, guys, we've been doing it all year. It's been a great. I've. I've really enjoyed this segment all year. It's been fun to keep up with and it's been so much fun to keep up with. I haven't kept up with it the last couple weeks, but I'm sure Rick's still way out in front, just like he has been all year. Well, with that being said, we've got two more state championship games to pick this week, gentlemen. So we will begin in Class 3A. It's going to be the 6:30pm game on Saturday night. The Salem Greyhounds against Bismarck. And I will. I will kick us off here. You know, I've talked about it. I've told people privately, you know, I've been to Salem, Arkansas, and that they are all of a sudden become a football power is nothing short of amazing to me. That being said, I think the run ends here for the Greyhounds. The Greyhound bus stops in Little Rock and Bismarck walks away with the Class 3A state championship. Leland, who you got? [00:29:08] Speaker C: I disagree. I think the Salem Greyhounds bus continues to roll. I think the fact that they handled Mansfield very. I'm not going to say easily, but they handled them pretty well on Friday night. Held that ground game in check. I think Salem and their ground game wins the Class 3A state championship over Bismarck. [00:29:34] Speaker A: Rick, who you got? [00:29:35] Speaker B: You know what? I don't know anything about either of these team. I haven't seen them play. But I do know my history. And my history tells me Salem sinks the big. The Bismarck. Salem will sing the Bismarck. [00:29:49] Speaker A: I like that. [00:29:49] Speaker C: There's the headline. There's the headline. [00:29:54] Speaker B: Young people. Look it up in your history books. All right, who we got next? [00:29:58] Speaker A: All right. And the final game, the Class 4A state title game is actually the noon game on Saturday. We're saving it for last since our local team is in it. The Arkadelphia Badgers. Storied, rich, tradition, powerhouse team in Class 4A taking on the Elkins Elk. Leland, we'll let you start off with this one. Who you got? [00:30:23] Speaker C: Tradition. Arkadelphia. [00:30:27] Speaker A: Unfortunately, I've got to agree with Leland on this one. The Arkadelphia Badgers just, you know, you hear so much about them. Even the years when they get off to an 03, start playing teams a lot better than them. They come back and win state championships. Great season for coach Zach Watson. The Elk and Elks. And I hope I'm wrong, but I'm going to go with Arkadelphia. Rick, for the very last time this year. Who you got? [00:30:53] Speaker B: All right, you know what? I'm going to gin you. I'm going to gin you. I've been ever since I saw what Elkin did last year. They got knocked out in the semis against Harding Academy. They've taken a step forward now. They're going to play for the championship. You talk about tradition. We're starting a new. I'm part of the Elk. I'm part of the clan now. The Elkins Elks will win this game. Upset the Badgers. I parted the herd. I'm leading the herd of the Elkins Elks winning their first state championship in football. Elkins, got it. [00:31:30] Speaker A: You're also. You're also home. You're also going to be the marshal in the championship parade, too, aren't you? [00:31:37] Speaker B: When they. When they bring it back. When they bring it back, I'll have my truck up there. Decorated. And we'll be going down Main Street. Elkins. [00:31:47] Speaker A: Well, I think all of us will be very happy to see not only you doing that, but for the Elkins Elks to win one. They've certainly been knocking on the door and if they can crash through here, that'd be a great moment for them. [00:31:58] Speaker B: Yep. [00:31:59] Speaker A: So, all right, folks. [00:32:00] Speaker C: Well, thought that last year was their year and of course then they ran into Harding Academy and the semis, and so maybe their year will just be one year delayed from last year. [00:32:13] Speaker B: I'm calling it. [00:32:15] Speaker A: You are calling it. All right, gentlemen. Well, for our viewers at home. So we will have one more Prep Rally podcast next week and then we'll take a little bit of a break for the Christmas season and into the new year and then we'll be back at basketball. But be, be sure and check us out next week when we recap the Elkins game. Leland. [00:32:39] Speaker C: You know, I want to hear about, I know the Red Dog Invitational. That's going to be the first one of these that they're having at Springdale. The girls round robin. They're having that Friday game night game between Springdale and Mountain Home. I want to report on that one for whoever covers that one because Mountain Home may be good enough to win the Class 5A state championship. They're really good. And of course, Springdale's defensive style is just really something too. So that should be one of the best games of these of this tournament season that we're playing right now. So that ought to be a good one. [00:33:20] Speaker A: Well, as of right now, I think that'll be Rick Fires. It'll be there, but we'll see. [00:33:26] Speaker C: And then of course, you know, the Tournament of champions is always good. You know, the Foster Roofing Classics next week and it's. Yeah, like you said, Graham, we're, we, we jump into basketball season, you know, full speed. [00:33:44] Speaker A: Yep. And we'll, we'll be sure and recap all those tournaments next week on, on the Prep Rally podcast and kind of get us set up to start conference play at the 1st of January. So. All right, well, that wraps us up for this week. For Leland Barclay in the River Valley. For Rick Fires, it's Graham Thomas signing up. We would think our. Or thank our sponsor, West Termite Pest and Lawn. And guys, we'll see you next week. We love.
