[00:00:00] Speaker A: What's up, everybody? Welcome back to the Prep Rally Podcast. Your go to huddle for high school sports action in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley. I'm your host, Sydney Ruth Mulvanen. [00:00:08] Speaker B: I'm Graham Thomas. We've got highlights, we've got hype, of course, we've got the gimme five and top five where we count down the top athletes of the week from northwest Arkansas and the River Valley. [00:00:20] Speaker A: Whether you're listening, on the way to practice or sitting in stands, we've got something for every high school sports fan. [00:00:25] Speaker B: Fan. [00:00:25] Speaker A: Let's kick it off with this week's biggest wins and wildest finishes as we reel it back. Welcome back. Let's reel it back to some of these finishes this week. Graham, take it away. [00:00:55] Speaker B: Oh, Sydney, it was a great week in high school football. [00:00:58] Speaker A: I mean, it was chilly, too. [00:01:00] Speaker B: Oh, it was great. [00:01:02] Speaker A: No. [00:01:03] Speaker B: Let's say good morning to Leland Barclay in the river valley. Is it 54 degrees like it was here this morning? [00:01:09] Speaker C: Oh, I am still in a T shirt and shorts, so I'm happy. [00:01:14] Speaker B: Leland's more of a warm weather kind of guy, so he's not going to, he's not going to be excited about the, the cooler temperatures as. As we are, but that's okay. So let's, let's start it off Leland in the River Valley this morning. Some, some really good games down there. I think the most impressive win down there, though, has to be the Ozark Hillbillies taking down the Boonville Bearcats. The 0 and 2 Boonville Bearcats in a really good game last week. [00:01:42] Speaker C: Yes. Harold McIlvaine was there to cover that game. Ozark improved a two and oh in their first season under Josh Watson. Very impressive performance. Again, it was over a slightly depleted Boonville Bearcat team. Some injuries. They, they started the season with a couple of guys on the injured reserve list. They added some more after their opener at Poto, Oklahoma. So I think they'll be healthy. They may have lost one guy for the season already, but I think they'll be healthy by the opener, but still put up a, a very, very good effort against Ozark in a rivalry game like we knew they would. But Ozark just, you know, was, I think, too much. And John Skalarsky, a soft running back, continues to have a big game, 183 yards rushing. The big one was a 77 yard touchdown run as the first half expired. That was really the, I think the big momentum shifter for the, for the Hillbillies in their game. [00:02:47] Speaker B: That was a crazy play too. Because there was one second left and coach Watson called timeout and they were pinned way back on their side of the field. He calls timeout and instead of just going to halftime, they run one play and it goes for about an 80 yard touchdown run, so. And ended up being the winning difference in the ball game. So, you know, one second can mean the world with Leland. [00:03:12] Speaker C: Well, and it was a, it was, it was a run play, not a pass play, but a run play that they had worked on during the week. One that they obviously had confidence in. They got it to assault, you know, the sophomore speedster John Skalarsky. So. And he's already made an impact on the basketball team too, last year. So that was, you know, very, very designed, very well designed play. And, and it worked out. [00:03:39] Speaker B: How about Greenwood and North side? So this one was a little bit of a fight in the first half. Greenwood did pull away in the second half. I think if you're north side, you know, you got a lot of positives to pull away from that first half. And then with Greenwood, you know, a lot of positives pull away from the second half. [00:03:56] Speaker C: Yeah, it was kind of a, you know, for the second week in a row, Greenwood, you know, pulled away in the second half after a, after a, a slight lead at halftime that could have even been even slighter except for a, an interception right before the half. And then for the second week in a row, also north side was close at the half and gave up some big plays in the second half in a defeat. But north side had a shot to be down 27, 21 at the half before that interception. They, they were on the Greenwood 22 yard line with any in the final few seconds. Greenwood makes a big defensive play. Greenwood scored four touchdowns in the first quarter. Then they scored four more in the third quarter and, and pulled away. And for the second week in a row, Greenwood's defense did not allow a touchdown in the second half. [00:04:54] Speaker A: Wow. [00:04:55] Speaker B: Couple of quick mentions here. We'll mention that Alma got its first win of the year against Silo Springs. A nice win there for the Airdales. And then the Mountainburg Dragons took home the treasure chest again. [00:05:11] Speaker C: Yeah, Ryan Allen made his debut for Mountainburg and, and as expected, was the impact player in that game. 208 yards rushing, three touchdowns on the ground. He also completed one pass for 52 yards. So Ryan Allen again the three sport all state athlete from Mount Verde off to a good start for his senior season. [00:05:33] Speaker B: All right, up here in northwest Arkansas we had several big games to mention. [00:05:38] Speaker A: Sydney, crazy few Games. [00:05:40] Speaker B: Now, you were at the Fayetteville Broken. [00:05:42] Speaker A: Arrow game, and I was freezing my tail off, no less. [00:05:45] Speaker B: But you should have had on this vest here. That would have helped things, y'. [00:05:49] Speaker C: All. [00:05:49] Speaker A: I tried to prepare. I had a sweatshirt on and everything. And I was like, teeth were clattering the whole time. But it was a dynamic game. I mean, both defenses on both sides were incredible in that first half. Yeah, defense was dynamic that night. Offense on both sides a little, little rough. But then towards the end, Fayetteville pulled away and that was just. That was such an exciting moment. And I think, you know, Greenwood and Fayetteville played in that beginning of the year scrimmage game. Both competitive teams, but I think for both those teams, they really do find ways to win at the end, so. [00:06:26] Speaker B: Well, you know, so Fayetteville and Broken Arrow were tied at 10. [00:06:28] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:06:29] Speaker B: Going into overtime. F had a chance to win it and right before overtime and missed a field goal. But. And you know, Broken Arrow scores first. They're up 17 to 10. Fayetteville scores and goes for two. Caleb Johnson converts the two point conversion. I loved what Scotty Bordelon wrote in his story about Casey Dick. Just, you know, the, you know, those kind of moments where you win like that is just, you know, you had to take a moment to sort of kneel down and just, yeah, check himself a little bit. [00:07:00] Speaker A: And it was impressive too, because earlier in the game, Caleb Johnson did have a nasty hit. So to come back in the game and win the way they did that, that was impressive. [00:07:10] Speaker B: Speaking of impressive, I'm going to give a little shout out here to the Springdale Bulldogs. The one to shoot out against Van Buren, 52 to 41. Springdale rush for 525 yards. Our guy Walter Woody was up here for that one really good win for. For Brett Hobbs and the Bulldogs over the Pointers. I was at Shiloh Christian to see the Saints play Little Rock Christian. And you know, after a early interception, Cole Creighton and the Saints went to work. They had 599 yards of offense. Leland, I looked and looked and looked. I tried to find him an extra yard. I couldn't find one. 599 is what we're going with. Coach sent me his huddle stats anyway and he was shorter than I was, so I'm going to go with 599. But Cole Creighton was really good. 412 yards passing, stayed healthy the entire game, which was the really big deal for him. You know, we talked about last week, he had gone out With a collarbone injury to his non throwing shoulder the last two times they played Little Rock Christian. So big for him. Big nights for Zane Slider and Chandler Kemp and Griffin Mason who scored four touchdowns at 122 yards rushing. Shiloh is going to be problems for people in Class 6A. Watch out Greenwood pre show. [00:08:30] Speaker A: I mean, Leland did bring up that Greenwood and Shiloh Christian will be one of the games to watch this year. And so I'm already looking forward to that game. I know it's, you know, a bit ahead, but that one's going to be a really good one. [00:08:42] Speaker B: And you know, the main event up here turned out to be not such a main event, but Bentonville just destroyed Conway over on Friday night. You know, their, their defense was really good and you know, we were talking about a Conway offense that had 700 yards and it season opener against Jonesboro. Well, Bentonville's defense is not Jonesboro. It was a 41 to 17 win for the Tigers at Tiger Stadium. Now don't read too much into it. These two could meet again and it could be in a different locale. [00:09:15] Speaker A: You can always flip flop. [00:09:16] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. I mean, just like last year, Conway pretty much had their way with Bentonville in week two and Bentonville turned the tables on them in the playoffs. So I think, you know, the big thing to take away here is that know a lot of these teams are who we thought they were, right, Leland? [00:09:37] Speaker C: Oh, I think so. I think they've shown that, you know, I again, you know, I've been the lone holdout that has voted Bentonville number one all season in the Arkansas sports media poll. And I think they're, you know, they're showing why they are capable of, of earning, you know, at least one vote. I know everybody's high on Bryant and they should be. I think Bentonville is very, very good as well. And you know, we mentioned earlier, you know, the Shallow Greenwood game that's coming up, the first conference game of the year. There's three gigantic games in the state this season. Bentonville and Fayetteville obviously, Battle of the Conway obviously, and then Greenwood and Shiloh Christian. So you know, there's a lot. And like you said, the locale could change because the winner of each of those big school conferences will have home field advantage throughout. The team that loses that big game is probably going to have to go on the road in the semifinals to face that other champion. So a lot at stake and boy, it's shaping up to be a great season again. [00:10:48] Speaker B: Oh, man. All right, well, that's you know, there's so many more games we could recap. I would encourage everyone to go on to NWA online or River Valley democratgazette.com and check out, you know, some of our recaps on in the Saturday and Sunday paper. There's just so much we could, we could talk about this for two or three hours. [00:11:08] Speaker A: But now we're going to take a break and we want to thank our sponsor, West Termite. Take control of your pests with West. Whether it's termites, mosquitoes, bed bugs, weeds or lawn disease, west has the experience serving Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma since 2003. Book your free consultation online today at westtermite.com after all, Wes knows pest best. [00:11:29] Speaker B: So well done again. [00:11:30] Speaker A: Oh, thank you. [00:11:32] Speaker B: All right, we're going to take a break and when we come back, we will look ahead to this week's big games and give you our predictions. This is Prep Rally. [00:11:45] Speaker A: Welcome back to Prep Rally. We're going to go ahead and look at the upcoming matches and make some predictions. [00:11:51] Speaker B: All right. Well, you know, some of the games this week are very, very interesting. We'll start up here in northwest Arkansas where Greenwood's going to come up and play Springdale harbor, which got its first win under coach Aaron Dannenhauer at Farmington. But in a side note, I really hope Aiden Lester is going to be all right. He suffered an injury in the game last week against Springdale harbor and best wishes to him for sure. He's a really great kid. But Harbor's got their hands full of Greenwood. It'll be at Harbor. It'll be a great environment over there at Wildcat Stadium. So that's a big one. Farmington at Prairie Grove. The battle of Highway 62. What a great rivalry that is. I got to go to that for the first time last season at Farmington. This year it's at Prairie Grove. It's a lot of exciting things going on at Prairie Grove, Leland. I remember when last time you were at Prairie Grove. They've got turf, they're getting an indoor facility. I mean, it is just things are changing over at Prairie Grove. They got a brand new gym that's really nice. It's not the little bitty Prairie Grove that we all used to know and love. So that will be a heck of a matchup. Our guy Rick Fires will be on the scene for that one this weekend. Tulsa Lincoln Christian is coming over here to play Shiloh. You know, we talk about, you know, Shiloh's had Little Rock Christian's number the last three years and has beaten him three years in a row. Well, this Lincoln Christian team has had Shiloh's number, so that'll be a big test to see if, if Shiloh can, can play a really good Tulsa Lincoln Christian team. Muskogee is coming over to play Bentonville West. Rodgers handled them quite convincingly. Muskogee, though, is a very tradition rich team. They beat Rogers and Bentonville west last year. So, I mean, you know, you think it's going to be a better game than maybe what Muskogee showed against Rogers last week and then the River Valley, Leland, I think kind of the biggest game, maybe the most exciting. And I kind of envy you on this one. But Ozark visiting Charleston. We don't know a lot about Charleston yet, but we've. I think we know that Ozark is. I don't know, I'm not gonna say they're back, but they're getting there. [00:14:17] Speaker C: Yeah, I think that's safe to say, you know. You know, Charleston defeated Pottsville 42, 7. Carter Little was his usual self. 303 yards and three touchdown passes. 21 of 32, 42 to 7 wins. So, you know, the starters basically played a half, so we really don't know much about them. We do have a good body of work for Ozark and so so far we like what we've seen. 2 and oh, I think there's a very good chance they go to 3 and O this week. But Charleston in their second game, you know, they're going to have one of the best pass catch duos in the, in this area with, with Carter Little and Emiliano Guyana. So it's. Think they have the offense to stay with Ozark. So that's, you know, the Franklin county feud separated by the Arkansas river, even though it's the same county. So I think that's, I think it's going to be an interesting one. [00:15:21] Speaker B: That ought to be a great environment if we get good weather and Alumni field will be just a really fun place to be at. On, On Friday night. [00:15:30] Speaker C: Well, and one of the most fun press boxes also in the River Valley is definitely the Charleston press box on Friday night. [00:15:37] Speaker B: Why is that. Is that, Is that the one where Kevin gets his coffee from or. [00:15:43] Speaker C: I don't know if that's where Kevin gets his coffee, but it's just a, It's a very. I'll say it's a very lively press box on a Friday night. [00:15:52] Speaker A: You and your press boxes. Hospitality rooms. Gosh, every time I go to a game like Leland's always just like make sure you go to the hospitality room. And he's always giving me the info of who has the best. [00:16:05] Speaker B: He's just making sure you get to eat, you know, that's true. [00:16:08] Speaker C: Years. Years of experience, I guess. [00:16:11] Speaker A: Sadly, I have yet to be in a press box or hospitality room this season. [00:16:14] Speaker B: You never. You never want to go through a football game hungry because we don't have time to go to the concession stand during a game and. Yeah, but nachos. [00:16:22] Speaker A: I'm also filming the game, so that's. [00:16:24] Speaker B: Why you go early and you get the hospitality room. [00:16:27] Speaker A: Yeah, I'll go one of these days. But anyway, let's start with those predictions. [00:16:32] Speaker B: All right. Who you got? Who you got? Let's roll with this. We'll start with. I think this may be a pretty good game, too, down the River Valley. We didn't mention it on the front end here, but my Paris Eagles, Jeff Weaver and the boys are two and. Oh, going to go to Boonville now. I'm hoping this is a good game. Boonville, I think, is. You know, you would think that they would. They would handle Paris, but we'll see. So I'm going to take Boonville to beat. Beat Paris close. Who you got? Sydney? [00:17:08] Speaker A: You know what? I'm just going to be the opposite here. I'm going to go for Paris. [00:17:14] Speaker B: All right. I like that. Good pick. Leaving who you got? [00:17:18] Speaker C: Well, yeah, that is picking Paris is definitely not a bad pick at all. You know, they started a lot of young guys last year, and they're starting and those guys are starting this year. They have a returning quarterback, Josh, only that played about half the season last year. And their offense is rolling right now to it. They're off to a two and. Oh start, but, man, it's. It's hard to win at Boonville. And even a slightly depleted Boonville team is still really good. And I'm still. I've still got to go with Boonville in this one. [00:17:50] Speaker B: Yeah. So Van Buren making the trip to Greenbrier. And we didn't mention this much about this one either. Sydney, if you ever get a chance to go to a football game at Greenbrier, it is the most beautiful setting you'll ever see for high school football. It is tucked away inside a bunch of hills. Leland, I don't know if you've been there recently. It's a really nice setup over there at Greenbrier. Van Buren doesn't need to get caught looking at the scenery because I think Greenbrier is a pretty good football team. [00:18:20] Speaker C: So, yeah, they're a real good football team. You know, the thing about this game concerning Van Buren is Van Buren gave up over 500 yards, 525 yards rushing to Springdale last week. Springdale had three running backs go over 102 of them. Very close to 200 yards. [00:18:40] Speaker A: I mean, I'm just gonna. [00:18:41] Speaker C: I think. I think the quarterback went 202. So they're gonna face arguably the best running back in the state this week in Greenbrier. And Enoch Assan, he rushed for 1989 yards last year. He had 313 in the opening victory last week. They didn't need him much against Russellville. Finished with 69 yards and one touchdown. But in two games already, he's close to 400 yards rushing. And he's the real deal. Big, powerful back. And I think Van Buren has trouble with him again this year. And I'm going to pick Greenbrier to win at home over Van Buren. [00:19:23] Speaker B: Sydney, who you got? [00:19:25] Speaker A: You know, I'm just going to compare it to the Hogs, but, I mean, last season we saw an Arkansas team beat Tennessee who ended up being a playoff team and then lose to Ole Miss. And I think they had 500 yards, a record. They had a school record in that game. So the best part about football is you never know. So I'm going to take Van Buren here, despite the loss last week. [00:19:48] Speaker B: You know what? I'm also going to roll the dice here and go with Van Buren. The one thing that gets lost on that is Van Buren put up a lot of offense, too. So I'm going to say Van Buren is going to win a shootout. My boy Austin Riggs. And catch some big touchdown passes. Van Buren in a shootout wins at Greenbrier. [00:20:04] Speaker A: Mm. [00:20:06] Speaker B: All right, moving on. Battle of Highway 62, Farmington at Prairie Grove. Real quick here. I, you know, don't know the status of Aiden Lester yet. Prairie Grove had a tough time at Tahlequah Sequoia. I'm gonna go with Farmington close in a rivalry game. Who you got? [00:20:25] Speaker A: I'm gonna say it's close as well, but I'm gonna go for Prairie Grove. [00:20:28] Speaker B: All right, Leland, who you got? [00:20:30] Speaker C: Well, I think it's close to. And I know we don't know Aiden Lester status, but, you know, there aren't very many teams in the state that have a backup like Slade Norwood, who's obviously really good, too. Had a big year at Greenland last year. He moved back home this year. I still think Farmington is. Is the best team in this game. [00:20:50] Speaker B: Tommy Tice will have a plan and a backup plan for the backup plan, if you know what I mean. He'll, he'll have lots of things ready to go. Tulsa, Lincoln Christian at Shiloh. Just saw Shiloh Christian myself. Who you got? I got Shiloh Christian. Sydney, who you got? [00:21:05] Speaker A: Shiloh Christian. [00:21:08] Speaker B: And Leland. [00:21:10] Speaker C: Yeah, I think Shiloh Christian. Another two weeks of non conference play, one game each for Greenwood and Shiloh Christian. But you know, Shallow Christian may have the best skill players in the 6A west and I think they get some revenge on Lincoln Christian this year, which is still. Lincoln Christian's won the last two state championships in their classification in Oklahoma. But I think this Shallow Christian team is really good and I think they win this, this rematch. [00:21:42] Speaker B: All right, and our last pick for who you got this week is the one we mentioned here earlier in the show. Ozark at Charleston. The Franklin county feud. Sydney, who you got? Boy, you're stressing over this one. [00:21:58] Speaker A: I am going to say Charleston. [00:22:04] Speaker C: I will. [00:22:05] Speaker B: I'm going to. [00:22:05] Speaker A: You know, I told you today my picks would be a little odd. [00:22:08] Speaker B: You know, I picked Charleston to win the 3A1 conference and to win the state championship, I think. Or no, I picked Salem to win the state title. We'll see about that. I did pick Charleston to win the 3A1 conference, but I'm kind of going to hop on the Ozark hillbilly bandwagon and say Ozark keeps playing well at Charleston, wins in a shootout. A lot of points on the, on the scoreboard. Leland, who you got? [00:22:35] Speaker C: Yeah, I agree with you 100%. I think it's going to be a shootout. Man, it's hard to pick against Carter Little, such a dynamic quarterback already off to, to a great season. But they kind of go from playing a Pottsville team and playing maybe a half or, you know, two and a half quarters. They're going to have to play a full four quarter quarters against Ozark, a physical team. This year. I think Ozark improves to three and oh, to go into four A four play. [00:23:05] Speaker B: All right, well, that was another exciting edition of who you got. [00:23:10] Speaker A: And before we get into The Give Me Five, we want to remind everyone that NWA online.com and River Valley Democrat gazette.com, are the premier spots to check out everything high school sports that these guys write. Our other sports reporters. Additionally, you can follow our Instagram and Facebook preparally pod where we share exclusive interviews and any kind of behind the scenes. So now let's take it away to the gimme five. [00:23:35] Speaker B: All right, so Gimme five in the River Valley. Leland, the show is yours. [00:23:41] Speaker D: Hi, my name is Ken Archer and this is the River Valley Gimme five. [00:23:44] Speaker C: These are the top five performances of the last week in the River Valley and it was really difficult narrowing it down to five. This could have easily been a gimme ten in the River Valley this week, but number five, Braden Palmer of Southside won the Rogers State After Dark cross country run in Tulsa last Thursday with a time of 15 minutes and 36 seconds. He finished first out of 345 participants that included Harbor, Tulsa Union, Jinx, Broken Arrow, Owasso. Just a tremendous cross country event. Of course it was 5,000 meter run. He finished first and that time is the best time recorded this season in the early cross country season in either Oklahoma or Arkansas. Number four, Aaron Siemens, a junior quarterback for Panama. Last Thursday he was 6 of 8 passing with a touchdown. He rushed 15 times for 231 yards and four touchdowns and he returned an interception 79 yards for a touchdown. He also had a fumble recovery and he also does the kicking and I think he does the punting except they didn't have to punt. But a tremendous performance in that 44 to 30 win over Spiral. First time in school history for Panama to beat Spiral in back to back seasons. Number three, Andrew Burton, the senior fullback for Mansfield. 13 carries for 281 yards. Do that math. And three touchdowns in a win in a 46 to 6 win over Waldron. He's off to a tremendous start already as well. Number two, of course Ryan Allen, the senior quarterback for Mountainburg. 26 carries for 208 yards and three touchdowns. He also completed a 52 yard pass in a 33 to 7 win over Cedarville for the Treasure Chest trophy. Number one, our River Valley Democrat Gazette player of the week. A very familiar name. Kane Archer, senior quarterback for Greenwood did it in a little, a little different way than what's what we're used to with Kane Archer. Now he did complete 21 of 31 for 278 yards and two touchdowns. But how about this? He rushed the ball seven times and had five rushing touchdowns. He said his first time in his life these ever run for five touchdowns. Two of them were on scrambles. One was a 30 yard touchdown run in the first half where he kind of dodged a ducked under a potential sack. And then in the third quarter he had the most dazzling 10 yard touchdown run that you will ever see in your life for, for a, for a dazzling run in that game 61 to 14 win over north side. And that's the top five performances out of in the River Valley this week. Take me through the dazzling play. What can you even remember about that play? [00:27:04] Speaker D: I rolled to my left and I saw this dude and I was like, just gotta get the first dude off me so I don't take a sack. And then I was like, a couple creases opened up and I was like, I'm gonna take this to the house. After you've missed like the first three dudes, you gotta get him at that point. So I had to get in. [00:27:16] Speaker A: What a dazzling word choice. I would. I. That was so great. [00:27:25] Speaker B: You know, I saw that five rushing touchdowns. I thought, man, Chris Young lost his mind. But you know. [00:27:33] Speaker A: All right, Graham, get into the top five. [00:27:36] Speaker B: It's going to be top six. I have a bonus top six. [00:27:39] Speaker C: Okay, My name is Anderselter and this is the NWA top five. [00:27:44] Speaker B: So number five, we're going to go with Fville and the win over Broken Arrow. Caleb Johnson with a two point conversion to, to win it for Fayetteville. That's a, you know, those kinds of wins help you down the road being able to win a close. I mean I know everybody would love for Fayetteville to go, you know, sling eight touchdowns passing and all that and blow them out. But to be able to win a close ball game and it just shows. [00:28:08] Speaker A: The testament of their players because like I said earlier, Caleb Johnson had a pretty hard hit in that game. And so to come back and basically win the game for Fayetteville, that just shows the strength of toughness of their players. [00:28:19] Speaker B: Number four is going to be Trey Thompson. And Bentonville west with six touchdown passes in a route of Cabot Wheat. We think Trey is really prime for a great year. I'm looking forward to seeing him play this week. Number three, we've mentioned it earlier. The Shiloh Christian offense. Cole Creighton, 412 passing yards. Zane Slider, 12 catches for 211 yards. Chandler Kemp, seven catches for 102 plus he had a 52 yard run. Griffin Mason, four total TDs, 22 carries, 111 yards. They were in fine form on Friday night. Number two, harbor with getting the win over Farmington, rallying to do so. Trace and writhe three touchdown catches for Harbor. That was big for for harbor to get that one I think. And number one is our Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette football player of the week, Carson Hayter of Springdale with 204 rushing yards. He also threw a 49 yard touchdown pass, 525 rushing yards for the Bulldogs as a team. You know, when they get that offense going, they are really difficult to stop and can be a real handful for teams. So great job by Springdale. They're also going to be our team of the week for the for the Hogs Illustrated lunch in this week and I said there was a bonus, so we do have a bonus. So our athlete of the week for Prep Rally this week is going to be Grace Abbruzzese from Bentonville, who shot a 75 to be the medalist of the Wolverine Invitational in Bella Vista this past week in a match of several teams in the area. But the fun part about it, she had a hole in one on par number three number or par three number 14, 112 yards away. The best part about it, and we've got a video too, the reaction of her teammates, all or not her teammates. I'm sorry, I said that wrong. The reaction of the players from other teams playing with her, celebrating that moment, which just really warmed my heart, was a cool thing to see. Congratulations, Grace. And you know, it's kind of what it's all about, I think with with high school sports is, you know, a lot of encouragement from not only your teammates, but your opposing players. And yeah, that's my top five plus bonus. [00:30:46] Speaker A: Well, what a special bonus that was. But all right, thank you for listening to the Prep Rally podcast this week. We will be back next week with hopefully some dynamic results from the who you got.
